Nationwide service
JCS offer a Nationwide Jewellery Claim Validation Service ascertaining current costs of Mid-High Net Worth Jewellery, 22ct Asian Jewellery and all brands of Watches.
Any documentation submitted to JCS by the policyholder/Insurer to help substantiate a claim e.g. Photos, Purchase Receipts or Pre-Loss Valuations are saved and stored on our database against the respective claim.
All original purchase receipts, watch guarantees and boxes are retained by JCS as a means of reducing duplicate claims.
All telephone calls are recorded by JCS for training and monitoring purposes, and to help combat fraud.

To assist JCS in validating your claim, watch guarantee cards, photo's or the original purchase receipt will be of paramount importance to us in pricing the watch at today's Retail Recommended Price.

One of our experienced jewellers will discuss your claim in detail over the telephone at a time convenient to you, in order to ascertain vital details of your lost or stolen item(s), at this stage any documentation e.g. photos, purchase receipts or pre-loss valuations submitted to JCS by the policyholder/insurer will be utilised in conjunction with our research to submit our final itemised report to your insurance company/loss adjuster.
The most common carat of gold claimed for in the UK is 9ct gold, 18ct gold is the standard purity sold by retailers in most European Union countries, Dubai and some Far Eastern countries.
No other country hallmarks their jewellery to the standard carried out in the UK. Many countries just stamp their jewellery 14k,18k or 22k, however, this may not be the guaranteed carat of gold!
Hallmarking is a compulsory state requirement carried out according to the 1973 UK Hallmarking Act and subsequent amendments. London, Sheffield, Birmingham & Edinburgh are the four assay offices that have been appointed to carry out the hallmarking.

Once the claim has been successfully validated by our appointed Asian Jeweller, JCS forward the itemised report to Insurers confirming the current costs to replace the gold jewellery.
Once a Policyholder replaces their 22ct gold jewellery via one of our UK Asian Retail Jewellers, they must provide two proof’s of ID when collecting their goods. The selected Asian Retailer will also issue a current Insurance Valuation free of charge to the policy holder to forward on to their Insurer.
